Please note: For projectors with a cabled connection if you are connecting to a Chromecast please see these instructions instead.


If the screen fails to show on the projector please can you try the following things, and if these do not fix the issues then please submit a ticket to ITSupport@hoevalleyschool.org:


1.  Please try to press both of these keys: 

and ensure that the display mode is set to either 'Duplicate' or 'Extend'



2.  Please try to reinsert the HDMI cable on both ends, to see if there are any connection issues. Due to some of the I/O plates on the wall being faulty it may need to be wiggled slightly in order for the connection to work fully. 



If this does not fix the issue: 


Try to Unplug the HDMI cable from both the wall and laptop, then replug them in. 


Also make sure that the projector is set to be on the channel: HDMI 1
